How to Save Money – Tips on Budgeting
Are you someone who is constantly asking yourself ‘how should I save my money?’ I don’t think you are alone. The majority of people in North America are constantly asking themselves the same question. It isn’t always easy when you have so much to worry about on a daily basis. Sometimes money matters are forgotten. There are some pretty simple ways that I have discovered, so here are some tips on budgeting that I will share with you.
Stop Your Vices:
You’re family has probably been nagging you about this for years but if you smoke or have some sort of other expensive vice it may be time to consider quitting. Not only are most vices bad for you but they all cost a lot of money. By quitting smoking or limiting yourself to just a couple of drinks a week you will save thousands of dollars each year. If you would like a reward system instead of actually investing that money use it to treat yourself to holiday or a new toy.
Have a Garage Sale:
Most of us have a lot more than we need. A garage sale is a wonderful way to solve that problem. Even if you can make a few hundred dollars that’s money in your pocket and a lot of things you don’t need are gone. As the old saying goes someone else’s ‘trash’ is another persons treasure.
Stay at Home More Often:
Rather than going out to the movies and spending $40 on the tickets and various snacks, rent a movie, find something fun on T.V. or play card or board games. There are plenty of things that you can do at home that cost next to nothing. I have found this is another one of the great tips on budgeting.
There are so many options for entertainment that are inexpensive and fun. There are also many way’s to turn items you no longer use into cash. Whenever I feel the urgency to better manage my money I turn to these frugal tips on budgeting. Three great tips. All simple and do-able, but all take effort. No one is ever going to get ahead with their budgeting without effort. I must admit that I haven’t heard the “Stop your vices” all that often, but it is a real challenge to determine one’s priorities.
Now…maybe I had better quit eating so much…
I think that hard work pays. If you want to run in a race, you need to do some hard work to be able to make it across the finish line but if you forget your shoes on the day of the race you’re sunk. The same holds true with your finances. You can do all sorts of right things but if you smoke a pack a day and drink a bottle of wine a night, you probably aren’t going to see financial results.
Thanks for the comment

You help me to save a lot money, hahaha.
Glad we could help! We try to help anyone that is interested in following some tips on budgeting.
I think the best out of the three tips is the second one which is to stay at home most often. Because to be honest, I always go out before then I noticed that if I dont go out I saved a lot of money.
Keep sharing new updates or new ways on saving money.
Staying in can be boring, but that’s what friends are for. Rather than going to a bar or restaurant for the big game invite your friends over. You’ll save a few bucks on pints and probably have a better time!
Great information and I read it more carefully than I could expect.
